The story goes that on Flinders Island near Killiecrankie naked lady lilies grow in clumps of 11. These lilies' proliferation can be attributed to George Augustus Robinson in part and in March they can be found in flower throughout the island. The story also says that the lilies are simply mimicking the way the tussock grasses cluster in clumps of 11.
